Blindflugschulen (BFS)
Blindflugschule ~ Instrument flying school The aircraft normally kept the factory code and received a number for easier use in the school. Aircraft used for instrument training (blind flying) were marked with two yellow bands around the fuselage |
Note: Often a blind cow was used as a symbol. Reason: "Blinde Kuh" is the German name for the famous children's game Blind man's bluff. Note also, that the dark blotch of the cow is painted roughly after the outline of the Reich! |
