Erprobungsgruppe 210

Version: 05-12-07 (D-M-Y) - 6 pics

EGr 210 had introduced the C-4/B fighter-bomber into service on the Channel coast in July of 1940.
EGr 210 proved such a success that plans were made to expan the unit from a single Gruppe to a full Geschwader,
and EGr 210 was re-organized and renamed SKG 210, SchnellKampfGeschwader or Fast bomber squadron 210, in April, 1941.

SKG 210 briefly continued to fly missions against England, but by early June of 1941 the unit was moved to Poland in preparation for the invasion of the Soviet Union.
